We all probably seen record players in our grandparents house, but did we care about it even a little? Well we believe that as kids we did not care about such a thing, but now as grown ups we are more into those things.   1. first you have to pick up the vinyl record by the edges that will keep grease and dust off its surface and this can in fact affect the qulity of the sound,
  2. second step is to place the record in a very gentle way onto the turntable just by lining up the hole in the disc with the spindle which is in the center of the platter,
  3. then you have to choose the right speed for the record you have choosen,
  4. now you have you very carefully lift the tonearm to the right and then just place it onto the outer edge of the record, your music will probably start playing now,
  5. when you are done listenig you should just lift the needle from the record , then just remove record and simply put it back in its sleeve.

Types of vinyl records

If you are into it already you should be aware that there are in fact three different types of size of the records. You will be able to get sizes of vinyl records like:

  • a 7-inch record that plays at 45 RPM, it will store around 5 minutes if music,
  • a 12-inch record plays at 33 RPM, it will store around 22 minutes of music,
  • a 10-inch disc it is very rare and plays at 78 RPM.
